Ultralight Spinning Reel – 150-Size, 5 kg Drag for Ice Fishing | Traverseon - AK150

Palm-Sized 150 Reel, 5 kg Drag Without the Bulk of a Full-Size Setup This ultralight spinning reel packs practical fishing performance into a compact 150-size body measuring approximately 9.2 × 9.4 cm (3.62 × 3.70 in), making it easier to carry for ice fishing, freshwater finesse, travel fishing, and other lightweight setups. The AK150 weighs approximately 136 g (4.8 oz) with 12 bearings, while the KF150 weighs approximately 142 g (5.0 oz) with a 12+1 bearing system and one-way anti-reverse for more immediate engagement when setting the hook. Both models use a 5.2:1 gear ratio and retrieve up to 85 cm (33.5 in) per handle turn, giving you a practical balance of speed and control for jigging, light-lure presentations, and steady retrieves. A multi-layer carbon fiber drag delivers up to 5 kg (11 lb) of drag power, giving this compact spinning reel real line-control capability without stepping up to a much larger, heavier reel. The CNC-machined aluminum spool keeps the reel compact while supporting line capacities of 0.20 mm / 170 m (0.008 in / 186 yd), 0.25 mm / 100 m (0.010 in / 109 yd), and 0.30 mm / 60 m (0.012 in / 66 yd). A reinforced alloy body, strengthened main shaft, thickened stainless-steel bail wire, and high-strength reel foot add stability during repeated casting and retrieval, while the reversible left/right handle with a solid wood knob gives anglers a more natural grip on either retrieve side. The AK150 comes in Orange/Gray, while the KF150 comes in Orange/Black. Built for ice fishing, freshwater finesse, travel fishing, and light inshore use, this small fishing reel is a strong fit for anglers who want less bulk without giving up dependable drag and controlled retrieval.
