The T650 is a mid-level compound microscope for general biological applications in higher education and professional settings. This instrument's design offers optical and mechanical refinements to accommodate heavy use with consistent results. The infinity-corrected optical system provides improved optical corrections, enhanced by the plan-achromatic lenses for sharp, accurate images. Smooth, ergonomic mechanics ensure a precise and comfortable workflow so your focus can remain on your research. This model is ideally suited for university labs, clinics, and veterinary offices. The trinocular head accommodates standard binocular viewing while providing a dedicated photo port for simultaneous use of a camera. The ocular tubes can be easily set for any user by using a Siedentopf adjuster which does not require any focus compensation after adjustment. Dioptric adjustments can be made on either eyepiece for astigmatism or asymmetry. The head is set to a 30° incline which is ideal for viewing from a standing position, and it can be rotated 360°. The photo port provides a 23mm tube for use with a large selection of cameras paired with 23mm reduction lenses. Photos and videos can be captured from this dedicated port without interfering with the eyepieces. The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. The turret's reversed orientation provides more working room above the stage. The turret's reversed orientation provides more working room above the stage. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy, with planatic flat-field correction to provide edge-to-edge sharpness. The large 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Coarse and fine focus is controlled through coaxial knobs on the left side, with an additional fine-focus knob on the right side. The ergonomic placement of controls allow specimen position and fine focus to be intuitively controlled with minimal movement. The sub-stage lighting provides bright illumination with highly-customizable controls for optimal contrast. The halogen light-source uses a lower color-temperature for decreased fatigue when used for long periods. This is ideal for lab technicians with a heavy workload. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion height adjustment for precision control, and is centerable for proper alignment.
